Flight training

Airplane or helicopter… your way to your target is with DSA

Our flight school offers a complete portfolio of pilot training on both airplanes and helicopters up to the professional level. It’s up to you whether flying just for fun or a professional career as a transport pilot, business aviation pilot or even a career as an emergency helicopter pilot fits into your vision of the future. We at DSA can help you with all of this. Those who prefer airplanes will be happy to hear that our graduates have a high acceptance success rate in airline assessments in the Czech Republic and worldwide. For those who see themselves more in a helicopter, it will be a great advantage to undergo training with us, because we are also a helicopter emergency medical service operator and many of our graduates fly in as professional pilots in our company. We will train you for all this.

Theoretical knowledge courses

ATPL(A) – Distance-learning course 650 at DSA

Class instruction with experts and experienced instructor pilots in the scope of 65 hours.
Guided self-study using the computer-based-training CBT Bristol Ground School ATPL(A) (license of which is included in the course price)…you can study at your own pace and in the comfort of your home, cottage or anywhere else.
Flexibility of CBT use on different platforms (PC/Mac/iPad) with synchronization between them.
Interactive lessons using charts, videos, 3D visualizations and animations for better understanding of the material… a significant advantage over printed textbooks.
Review quizzes at the end of each chapter and ongoing progress tests… we want you to feel confident that you have a good grasp of your new knowledge, and in turn we can see your progress in real time.

The key advantage of our ATPL(A) course is that it is not about drilling the correct answers to test questions only, but about proper training with guided self-study using CBT and with high quality and modern study materials… among other things, exactly as all flight schools are required to do by EU regulations.

Single-Pilot High Performance Aeroplanes (HPA)

An applicant who does not hold an ATPL(A) certificate shall complete the HPA theoretical knowledge course to increase his/her knowledge to enable him/her to commence training for the required high-performance single-pilot aeroplane rating.

ICAO English course and exam

If you are planning to fly abroad or undertake instrument flying training, you will need to demonstrate English language proficiency to at least ICAO Level 4. We can help you with this as our flight school is authorized to conduct ICAO English examination. If you would like to brush up on your English language proficiency before the exam, we offer a preparation course to help you pass it without any problems. The course focuses on vocabulary, grammar practice and consolidation, professional aviation English, aviation phraseology, aviation acronyms and practicing radio communication. However, this course is not compulsory for passing the exam, so it is up to you whether you choose to take it.
