The Cessna 162 is American two-seat single-engine high-wing airplane of semi-shell construction intended for recreational flying. Compared to the earlier C152, it is distinguished by its considerable cockpit spaciousness and better outward visibility. It is equipped with a Garmin G300 system integrating all flight, navigation and motor instruments, substituting conventional instruments and thus increasing the crew´s spatial awareness and reducing the crew´s amount of stress. The 100-horsepower Continental engine is equipped with a fixed propeller. The maximum take-off weight is 599 kg and its cruising speed is 207 km/h.
